Astor KM QK 1948 1953

Astor refused to pay Disney 50 pounds a year to licence the trade name Mickey Mouse so they simply used the name "Mickey"

This is a very popular radio and was produced for many years.

Most of the Mickey's you see are brown, white or cream, green one's pop up from time to time as do light blue ones, they are rare in mustard yellow, mottled yellow, blue with clouds, blue swirled, champagne, apple green and red.

NOTE: None of these radios are painted - this is the bakelite colour

There is also a Monarch branded version of this set.
