Trademark LorenzLorenz (Berlin) was the oldest German communications engineering company. In 1930 the majority of shares went to ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation), in 1940 Schaub was acquired (because the city of Pforzheim was no longer allowed to own this company due to an official decree), in 1950 Stuttgart was declared the company headquarters. From 1954 the devices were called "Schaub-Lorenz", at the end of 1970 Greatz took over the radio production and Becker (the one with the car radios) the Rastatt plant.
