Telefunken "Condor" 965WK
Old bakelite receiver
Existing my radio receiver is working, although the appearance of injuries. The unit has a few repairs, the fabric on the front panel has not survived, and it had to be replaced. There remained lower ledge decorative border, is well illustrated by the photo.

For comparison, appears photo of well preserved receiver with a "native" design the front panel >>
The Telefunken's loudspeaker with bias and spacious building provides a great "deep" and "warm" sound. In this scheme of formation of the amplitude-frequency characteristics in the final power of low frequency is rather complex.
Deep bass provide a solid and convincing sound. Reduced impact on the average frequencies in the spectrum of human speech, relieves fatigue after prolonged listening ear. The rise of high frequencies, just outside the vocal range, makes the sound more transparent and musical. Above 6.8 kHz, LC notch filter in parallel to the primary winding of output transformer, completely removes all the noise and high frequencies.
It is believed that the receipt of such forms of low-frequency response tract broadcast receiver follows serious psychoacoustic research scientists and engineers from Telefunken.
"Warm", very comfortable sound of the German radio late 30th and early 40th of the last century, literally cuts. Including the receiver in the morning, he did not want to turn off until evening.
