Fridor Waldorp 270 This radio from the Hague manufacturer Fridor is mounted in an elegant, shallow, standing piece of furniture. The loudspeaker is located under the radio chassis mounted. On the front of the case are 4 buttons, from left to right the volume control with on/off switch and PU/Radio switch, high and low control, wavelength switch and tuning knob.

The device was released as part of the "Lauwerkrans" series.

There is a variant of this radio (1953), in which the furniture is mounted on a plinth that protrudes slightly beyond the cabinet. Being under the plinth castors mounted, making the furniture mobile. Fridor called this version is a "side device".
